New reservation

 

SeatOn Clover - New reservation

 

To access the New reservation screen, click the quick link which is present in the lower right corner of almost any screen of the SeatOn Clover application, with the icon as shown on the picture:

In order to create a new reservation, you have to enter following information:

  • Time and date of the reservation
  • Customer data - select from the database of existing customers, or enter a new one
  • Number of covers (persons)
  • Approximate length of meal
  • Table(s) to reserve

New reservation screen is divided in four sections:

  1. Reservation details selection
  2. Create reservation or reset
  3. Customer selection
  4. Customer statistics

 

1.Reservation details selection

In this section you can specify following reservation data:

Time and date of a new reservation

First, you should select date of a new reservation. You can select date from the predefined buttons:

or from the calendar:

Similarly, select time from the predefined buttons:

or by clicking the button "Time", and entering it manually

Number of covers (persons)

Next, you select number of persons for this visit, either clicking on the predefined buttons, or by selecting value from the drop menu:


Approximate length of meal

Specify the meal length by clicking on the predefined buttons (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), or by selecting value from the drop down menu:


Table(s) to reserve

To select tables for reservation, you must complete all the previous steps by specifying time and date, number of persons, and meal duration. Then, you click on the button "Find available tables" so the system can check data and show you a list of available tables and their capacities:

Mark all the table(s) you wish to reserve. It is possible to select one or more tables.

On the other hand, if there are no available tables for specified time and date, you will be given options for selecting alternative reservation time:

 

2. Create reservation or reset

This section gives you two action options:

  • Create reservation - once you have entered all needed reservation data (time and date, number of persons, meal length, table(s), customer), you must click the "Create reservation" button to store it in the database.
  • Reset - if you want to reset form data you have entered for a new reservation, and start all over again

 

3. Customer selection

In this section you can select a customer for the reservation. Customer can be selected from the database of existing customers, or you can enter a new one by filling customer information form. Mandatory data to enter for customer are fields "First name" and contact data "Email" and "Phone".

 

4. Customer statistics

This section gives detailed data about the customer, if available from the database:
