  1. Settings - general online reservation settings
  2. Restaurant page - Widget - add a SeatOn reservation widget to your web page.
  3. Restaurant page - Floating button - add a SeatOn reservation floating button to your web page. Floating button is always visible on your web page.
  4. Restaurant page - Reservation link - include SeatOn online reservations on your web page by setting up an action link to a button of your choice on your web page
  5. Facebook Integration - integrate SeatOn reservation widget with your Facebook page
  6. Google Integration - allow your guests to make reservations into your SeatOn system using Google places/maps

Moreover, on the top of this page you can enable or disable online reservations by selecting appropriate option from the drop down menu:

There are three options which you can select from the menu:

  • enabled - online reservations are enabled
  • disabled - online reservations are disabled
  • disabled until defined date and time - online reservations will be temporarily disabled until selected time and date. Useful if you have longer periods when your restaurant does not operate.

1. Settings

Online reservation settings on this tab include:

  • General - various online reservation settings. You can set:
    • maximum number of persons per online reservation,
    • enable offering alternative times for guests if they selected period when all tables are occupied
    • set up reservation interval times (e.g. 7:30 - 8:00 - 8:30 - 9:00... or  7:15 - 7:30 - 7:45 - 8:00...)
    • set up cancellation policy - set up minimum reservation cancellation time before start of an event. This prevents last-minute cancellations, as customer will not be able to cancel reservation after the minimum setup time (e.g. if this time is set to 30 minutes, a customer will have to cancel the event at least 30 minutes in advance)
  • Automation - automatically assign tables when users create online reservations. Automation options and possible algorithms are described on the automatic table assignment page
  • Online Reservation fees - set up fees for online reservations. Guests can be charged for each reservation they book, or the funds can just be reserved and charged later in case of a no-show. Possible options are described in detail on the Online Reservation fees page
  • Duration - allow guests to choose duration of their reservation. In case you decide to allow your customer to choose the duration, you can define minimum and maximum duration of the event. On the other hand, if this option is not enabled, the system will automatically set the duration of the event based on the meal duration settings on the Meal settings page, without allowing customers to choose.
  • Message to customers - set up notices which will be shown to guests on a screen during online reservation process. Messages sent to customers are described in detail on the Online Reservation Messages to Customers page
  • Preview online reservation pages - preview messages to customer which will be shown to customers

2. Restaurant page - Reservation widget

4. Restaurant page - Reservation link

Integrating SeatOn widgets into your website using a reservation link is a bit simpler method. Using this option, you can add a link to an existing element on your restaurant's web site (e.g. a button, or text). When users clicks on the link, SeatOn reservation page opens in a new browser tab. Users can then create a reservation in the new tab.
SeatOn customization of the look and feel is not used if you use this option.
