SeatOn Web - Event Details
Event details page provides detailed data about specific event. If the event has not yet finished, you can also change its status, or edit event. The page is divided into 5 sections:
- Basic event information - basic event information and options to change event status (close, re-open)
- Event status and spending amount - current event status (Show, No-Show, Canceled), total spending amount, and total tip amount
- Event timeline and table details - table number and number of seats which was used during the event. Timeline information depends on event type.
- Event change history - complete change history of this event, i.e. how the event status was changing during the time, and who has made the change
- Notifications sent or received from customer - list of all notifications messages communicated with the customer
- Customer details and feedback - details about the customer who is the owner of the event, as well as customer feedback about this event, if the customer left one
In this section you can see event type (Reservation, Walk in, Walk in waitlisted), user who created the event, user who made last modifications to it, as well as times of creation and modification.
Furthermore, you can change status (Open, Close etc.) for events by selecting value from the drop down menu "Change status".
For the type of event Reservation which is still open, allowed values are, as shown on the picture below:
- Confirm
- Show
- No Show
- Cancel
For the type of event Walk-in which is still open, allowed value is only "Close", as shown on the picture below:
For the type of event Walk-in Waitlisted which is still open, allowed values are, as shown on the picture below:
- Notify
- Show
- No Show
- Cancel
Likewise, using the same "Change status" drop down menu, you can re-open events that were canceled or closed.

2. Event status and spending amount
This section displays event status, and if the event is closed, total revenue, tip amount, and percentage of tip amount in comparison to total revenue. If the event is still open, then the fields revenue and tip are empty.
3. Event timeline and table details
This section shows table details for the selected event, as well as full event timeline (i.e. when the customer was seated, when did he make a payout etc.)
Event details subsection contains following information:
- Date - date of the event
- Time - depends on the event type:
- Walk-in - time when the customer was seated
- Reservation - time when the table is booked
- Waitlisted walk-in - quoted time (i.e. estimated time of waiting for the customer)
- Number of covers - total number of covers
- Expected duration - estimated duration for this event
- Table(s) - table(s) taken by this event
- Note - any specific note made for this event
Timeline subsection contains following information, depending on the event type:
- Walk-in
- Seated - time when the customer was seated
- Closed (paid) - time when the customer released table and made a payment
- Reservation
- Reserved - time for which the customer made a reservation
- Confirmed - time when the customer confirmed arrival
- Seated - time when the customer was seated
- Closed (paid) - time when the customer released table and made a payment
- Waitlisted walk-in
- Added to waitlist - time when the customer was put to the waiting list
- Notified time - time when the customer was notified that a table is available
- Confirmed - time when the customer confirmed arrival
- Seated - time when the customer was seated
This section shows complete change history of this event, i.e. how the event status was changing during the time, and which user made the change.
5. Notifications sent or received from customer
This section lists all notifications messages which were communicated with the customer, i.e. text message when the customer has been put to the waiting list, notification text message when the table has been freed for the customer, confirmation or cancellation message sent by customer etc.
6. Customer details and feedback
This subsection gives details about the customer who is the owner of the event, as well as customer feedback about this event, if the customer left one. Following information is displayed:
- Membership status
- Phone
- Note
- Favorite table
- Allergies
In addition, by clicking on the button View customer profile you can check more details about the customer on the Customer details page.
