SeatOn Web - Customer details

 

This pages gives comprehensive data about the selected customer. It is divided in six sections, as shown on the picture below:

  1. Main customer data
  2. Main customer spending data
  3. Customer contact and important dates
  4. Detailed customer visit and spending data
  5. Recent customer visits
  6. Customer feedback

 

I. Main customer data

This section displays essential customer data:

  • Name and surname
  • Registration time
  • Membership type and number of points
  • Favorite table, if it exists
  • Marketing allowed flag
  • Allergies for this customer, if such information exists in the database
  • Customer notes

II. Main customer spending data

This section shows essential customer spending data:

  • Total spend amount
  • Average spend amount per visit, and comparison to other regular customers
  • Total tips amount
  • Average tips amount per visit, and comparison to other regular customers
  • No-show rate
  • Total number of no-show events

III. Customer contact and important dates

This section shows customer contact data (Email and Phone), as well as any important dates recorded for this customer (i.e. birthday, anniversary, etc.)

IV. Detailed customer visit and spending data

This section contains three reports which show detailed visit and spending analytics by the customer. It is divided in 3 sub-sections, accessible on separate tabs:

4.1 Visit statistics

Visit statistics report displays three sub-reports:

  • General visit statistics - total number of customer visits and share of different visit types (Reservation, Walk-in Seated, Walk-in Waitlisted) in all customer visits. In addition, comparison of these numbers to other regular customers is given.
  • Reservation statistics - total number of reservations, no-show and canceled reservations
  • Waitlist statistics - total number of visits when the customer was put to the waiting list, as well as no-show and canceled waitlisted events

4.2. Spend trend

Spend trend report shows revenue generated by the customer over the last 12 months, depending on the visit type, as shown on the picture below:

Data is presented on the histogram with months on the horizontal axis, and revenue on the vertical axis. Every revenue on particular month can be further analyzed depending on the visit type. Below the histogram, a table with even more spending details is shown with the following rows:

  • Revenue - total revenue, average revenue per visit, average revenue per cover
  • Tips - total tips, average tip per visit and percentage of tip in relation to the total bill amount
  • Number of visits - total number of visits, total sum of covers, average covers per visit
  • No show visits - percentage of no show events in relation to visit type, total number of no-show events, total sum of covers, total estimated loss because of no-show event. Please note that for the Walk-in Seated event type, no-show information is not applicable, and thus for this column this field is always empty.

Columns in the table are:

  • Reservation - values calculated only for the event type "Reservation"
  • Walk-in Seated - values calculated only for the event type "Walk-in Seated"
  • Walk-in Waitlisted - values calculated only for the event type "Walk-in Waitlisted"
  • Total - sum of values for all event types
  • Total Percentage - comparison of values in the column Total to values to other regular customers

4.3. Aggregated spend

Aggregated spend report is similar to the Spend trend report, however it shows customer spending behavior depending time of day, or days of the week. It can be generated for time period of last 3 months, or for the last 12 months.

Time of day aggregated spend

Spending data is presented on histogram with time of day (hours) on the horizontal axis, and revenue on the vertical axis.

Every revenue on particular hour can be further analyzed depending on the visit type. Below the histogram, a table with even more spending details is shown with the following rows:

  • Revenue - total revenue, average revenue per visit, average revenue per cover
  • Tips - total tips, average tip per visit and percentage of tip in relation to the total bill amount
  • Number of visits - total number of visits, total sum of covers, average covers per visit
  • No show visits - percentage of no show events in relation to visit type, total number of no-show events, total sum of covers, total estimated loss due to no-show event.

Values in the rows are divided and calculated depending on three hour groups (i.e meal types):

  • Breakfast - events starting from 7 AM - 11 AM
  • Lunch - events starting from 11 AM - 5 PM
  • Dinner - events starting from 5 PM - 11 PM

Days of week aggregated spend

Spending data is presented on histogram with day of week on the horizontal axis, and revenue on the vertical axis.

Every revenue on particular hour can be further analyzed depending on the visit type. Below the histogram, a table with even more spending details is shown with days of week as rows, and the following columns:

  • Revenue - total revenue, percentage of revenue for this day in comparison to total revenue, average revenue per visit, average revenue per cover
  • Tips - total tips, percentage of tips for this day in comparison to total tips, average tip per visit and percentage of tip in relation to the total bill amount
  • Number of visits - total number of visits, total sum of covers, average covers per visit
  • No show visits - percentage of no show events in relation to visit type, total number of no-show events, total sum of covers on no-show events, total estimated loss due to no-show event.
  • Reservation ratio - share of Reservation visit types in total number of visits

 

V. Recent customer visits

This section lists recent past visits by the customer, including expected arrivals.

The visits and appropriate information are listed in the table with the following columns:

  • Date - start date for past visits, expected start date for expected arrivals
  • Type - visit type (Reservation, Walk-in seated, Walk-in waitlisted)
  • Status - visit status
  • Event - type of meal (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) and number of covers
  • Spend - total amount spent by the customer for this visit
  • Action - click the "Details" button to get detailed event information on the Event details page.

By default, most recent ten visits are shown, but it is possible to check all customer's visits by clicking on the button "Show all customer visits".

 

VI. Customer feedback

This section shows last 5 feedback reviews left by the customer. By clicking on the button "Show all", at the bottom of feedback list, it is possible to check all customer feedback.
