Employees’ performance report shows customers’ spending data based on the employee who served them. Thus, the report can help you identify your best employees.

Spending data (tips + revenue) is presented by default in various time intervals, which can be selected on appropriate tab:

  • Last 12 months
  • Last month
  • Yesterday
  • Today
  • Current week
  • Current month

Furthermore, it is also possible to select arbitrary time period by clicking on the date field and selecting "Custom range" option. When you have chosen desired time period, click the "Apply" button to retrieve data for the chosen period.

Employees performance data is divided in two report sections: Revenue/tips histogram and Detailed spending data table.

Revenue/Tips histogram

Specific employee spending data is presented in his particular bar in the histogram. Each bar is divided in two parts, green part shows revenues, and blue part shows tips paid to the specific employee. By clicking on each bar you can get exact revenue and tips numbered for the selected employee:

                        

Detailed spending data table

Detailed spending data table contains information about spending for each employee. It can be further filtered by active/inactive employees by toggling appropriate trigger:

                     

You can also sort data in the table by selecting desired sort criteria from the drop down menu:


Supported sort criteria are:

  • Revenue - sorting by total revenue received by the employee
  • Average revenue per cover - sorting by average revenue per cover for the employee.
  • Tips revenue - sorting by total tips received by the employee
  • Average tips revenue - sorting by average tip received by the employee. Average tip is calculated by dividing total tips revenue for the employee with total number of covers for the employee.
  • Average tips in percentage - sorting by average tips/revenue ratio for this employee.
  • Number of visits - total number of visits served by the employee
  • Number of covers - total number of covers served by the employee
  • No Show Rate - sorting by total no show rate (reservation or waitlist) for this employee.
  • Reservation ratio - sorting by total reservation/ total walk-ins served by this employee. The bigger the number means that the employee served more guests who reserved their seat in advance

One row in the data table is reserved for each employee:

Columns in the table are:

  • Employee - employee name
  • Revenue - revenue information for the employee
  • Tips revenue - tips amount information for the employee
  • Visits - visits information for the employee
  • No Show - no show events for the employee
  • Reservation ratio - reservation percentage for the employee
  • Details - click on the button "Details" to check additional information about employee on the Employee details page

 

Column Employee

     - employee name and activity information (Active / Inactive). Employee is inactive when he is no longer employed at the restaurant. You can set up employee activity on the Employee details page.

 

Column Revenue

Column  gives revenue information. Listed rows in this column are, in order of appearance:

  • Total revenue by this employee
  • Percentage of revenue by this employee in proportion to total restaurant revenue
  • Average revenue per visit served by this employee
  • Average revenue per cover served by this employee. Also, ratio of this average in comparison to average revenue per cover for all employees is shown.

Column Tips

Column shows information about tips' amounts.Listed rows in this column are, in order of appearance:

  • Total tips given to this employee
  • Percentage of total tips to this employee in proportion to total amount of tips for all employees
  • Average tip per visit served by this employee. Percentage of tip amount in proportion to total bill amount for this employee. Comparison of the calculated percentage for this employee in proportion to tip amount percentage for all employees

Column Visits

  Column     shows visits information. Listed rows in this column are, in order of appearance:

  • Total visits served by this employee
  • Percentage of total tips to this employee in proportion to total amount of tips for all employees
  • Total covers served by this employee
  • Average covers per visit for this employee

Column No Show

Column        gives information about no-show events for this employee.Listed rows in this column are, in order of appearance:

  • Total no-show events for this employee. Percentage is calculated as (number of no show reservations + number of no-show events when the customer acquired a seat through the waiting list) divided by total number of events for this employee
  • Total number of no-show visits(events) for this employee
  • Total (potential) covers in no-show events for this employee
  • Potential loss suffered because of no-show visits for this employee. Loss is calculated as average revenue per cover for this employee multiplied by total potential covers in no-show events

Column Reservation ratio

Column shows reservation ratio which is calculated as number of reservations in proportion to total visits served by this employee.

 

Column Details

Clicking on the button   will lead you to the Employee details page and show you details for this employee, where you can also change employee data (name, surname, activity etc)
